CONFIGURING MICROSOFT OUTLOOK EXPRESS
Open Microsoft
Outlook Express (If the Internet Connection Wizard opens when
you start Outlook Express, skip steps 1 - 3.)
1. Click on Tools
2. Click on Accounts
3. Click on Add->Mail
4. For Display Name, fill in your name, and click Next. (Real Name, ie, John
Doe)
5. For Email Address, fill in your email address, and click Next. (all lowercase,
ie, jdoe@acsinc.net)
6. My incoming mail server, should be set for POP3.
7. Enter
your incoming mail server: mail.acsinc.net
8. Enter your outgoing mail server: mail.acsinc.net, and click Next.
Note: If you were a Globalvision/Piedmont.net customer, then
use mail.globalvision.net.
9. Enter your account name (which may already be entered for you), in all lowercase.
(ie, jdoe)
10. Enter your password, in all lowercase, make sure Remember Password is checked,
and click Next.
11. Click Finish
If online, Click "Send and Receive" to check your mail
